Adelaide Author Talk : Gregory Bryan

August 14, 2012

ADELAIDE Book Launch: Gregory Bryan as he talks about his new book TO HELL & HIGHWATER

Thursday 15 August | 6.45pm | Rostrevor College Pavilion

Catchup with author Gregory Bryan as he talks about his new book TO HELL & HIGHWATER – he’ll be chatting about Henry Lawson and his own walk in Henry’s footsteps in some of Australia’s most remote country.

A childhood goal to walk in the footsteps of his favourite author led GREGORY BRYAN, an author and literacy professor, onto the dusty track between Bourke, NSW and Hungerford, Queensland. Henry Lawson made the same trek in search of ‘copy’ in 1893, and for the rest of his life he was influenced and inspired by his time wandering in the outback. An inspiring story of what makes ordinary people do extraordinary things
