Adam Holloway

Adam Holloway has been an avid student of Australian military history from an early age, and has a particular interest in the First World War. He is the proud great-grandson of an Anzac and an equally proud son of a Vietnam veteran. The stories of 10 other Great War relatives fuelled a commitment to honour what these extraordinary men did for the freedom of others and he has completed several extensive research expeditions to western Queensland, France and Belgium where his family lived, fought and died. Adam has a Bachelor of Justice from Queensland University of Technology where he majored in Investigations and Policing. His patient and meticulous investigative research has been honed during more than 16 years as a Queensland Police Officer, including five years in the Criminal Investigation Branch. He is a member of the 9th Battalion Association and the Roma Historical Society. Adam also operates a successful military research service, using his carefully refined skills to ensure that other descendants of Great War veterans experience a rich and fulfilling journey to the Western Front.
