Michael C. Madden is an author, photographer and medal mounter. He is the founder and host of the podcast, Australia Remembers. Michael has written four novels and two major history books. He runs his own military medal business in Berwick, Victoria.

In recognition of his work on his book, The Victoria Cross – Australia Remembers, Michael was made a patron and Life Member of the Victoria Cross Trust in the United Kingdom. He was made an honorary life member of the United States Army Small Ships Association and was appointed the number one, associate member, of the Totally & Permanently Incapacitated Ex-Servicemen & Women’s Association of Victoria.

Michael’s latest book, Dasher, The Kevin Wheatley VC Story, is out now. He is soon to release the first in a series of children’s novels called, The Stacey Casey Series, with Big Sky Publishing.
